Good morning, Harmony team!
We had some good wins this week across both production and sales. A few of these wins are still in the early stages, but they show the kind of ideas, follow-up, and teamwork that can make a real difference for us over time.
Production
Dugan brought forward an excellent idea to turn our salmon skins into a potential dog treat product. Instead of treating the skins as discarded material, this could create an additional revenue stream while also improving our overall recovery percentage.
The team will research and develop the process to determine how to turn the salmon skins into a marketable product. This is a great example of finding value where it may have previously been overlooked.
Sales Outreach
Shayla completed 160 calls this week and sent samples to co-ops across the country. These are primarily independent, single-location accounts that may offer a more direct path to placement and quicker sales opportunities.
The next step will be consistent follow-up with each account to turn those conversations and samples into new customers.
Account Follow-Up
Jeremy’s follow-up efforts with current accounts continue to generate reorders when the timing is right. Even some accounts that originally ordered in February and have not yet seen their desired sales velocity remain supportive and optimistic about the product’s potential.
These conversations are helping us better understand reorder timing, customer expectations, and the sales velocity information we need for future projections.
Jeremy is also continuing positive discussions with Sportsman’s Warehouse, Cenex Zip Trip, and Rotten Robbie’s convenience store chains.
Thank you to the entire Harmony team for helping prepare and ship orders efficiently, respond to billing questions, send samples, and support our customers. Each of these wins is a reminder that progress happens when every department works together.
Great work this week!
Bo
